The App uses the following third-party services:
Anthropic Claude API — When a word is not found in our local dictionary or shared cache, your search query is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate a translation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed by their API. We do not send any personal information to Anthropic — only the word or phrase you are translating.
Google Firebase Firestore — We use Firebase to store anonymous translation results in a shared cloud cache. This allows users to benefit from previously generated translations without additional API costs. No personal data is stored in Firebase.
Apple StoreKit — Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy governs all payment processing. We do not have access to your payment information.
Apple Speech Recognition — If you enable voice search, your voice input is processed by Apple's on-device or server-based speech recognition. We do not store or process your voice data.
Your favorites, history, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. Anonymous translation queries may be stored in our Firebase cloud cache without any connection to your identity.
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Local data (favorites, history, settings) is stored on your device until you delete the App or clear the data manually via Settings. Anonymous translation cache entries in Firebase may be stored indefinitely to serve future users.
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, there is no specific risk regarding children's data.
